Amber & Michael Sullivan opened Handsome Jack's Pet Club in remembrance of their dog, Jack — aka Jacky Boy, Boo, or Booey. Soon after, their other dog Petey passed from lymphoma at 14 years young. They turned grief into a plan: build a doggie empire that treats every visiting pup like family.
HJPC has been open for just over five years, since 2018, and recently expanded to dog boarding in 2024 — officially making it the Pet Club. We're now a family of four with three pups of our own. Amber has been professionally grooming since 2016 and is working toward her Pet Aesthetician diploma.

Yes. For grooming and boarding we'll need current Rabies and DHPP (distemper/parvo) at minimum, plus Bordetella if your dog will be boarding. Bring paperwork from your vet or have them email it to us before your first appointment.
Yes. No cage dryers either — ever. Dogs are handled, not stacked. That's why we're strictly appointment-based: it keeps things calm and one-on-one.
That's our specialty. Amber is certified in Pet Massage specifically for anxious or senior dogs, and we'll pace the groom around what your pup can handle. We'd rather split a session than rush one.
Unfortunately we do not offer defleaing or deskunking. If you're in a bind, call us anyway — we're happy to point you to a trusted neighbor who can help.
Full groom pricing depends on breed, size, and coat condition, so we'll quote you when we see your dog. Add-ons are flat: nails $12–$15, anal glands $10, ears $5, teeth $10. De-mat brushing varies with severity.
